Application Process:
If you are interested in joining us, you can come our station on State Road 2 and pick up an application, or download the application here. You will also get information on what the process is to be accepted on the fire department, requirements and time commitments for training, and be introduced to the people who are going to help you through the process.
- Turn in completed application to our station (No online applications accepted!).
- If everything is ok with the application, we will contact you to set up an interview.
- If your interview goes well, you will be called to fill out additional paperwork, including a background check.
- Once accepted as a probationary member, you will go through an onboarding program to welcome you to our department. During this time, if not already certified, we will help you get into a (FREE!) state sponsored training program.
In advance we would like to thank you for your interest in joining Washington Township Fire Volunteer Department, and we look forward to meeting you soon.
If you have questions regarding the application process, Washington Township can best be contact on Tuesday nights between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
